Here is a Live Blog of Sony's GDC 2010 Press Conference.




EA Annoucnes EA Sports Active 2.0 For The Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3, And iPhone

EA has announced the next game in the EA Sports Active series is EA Sports Active 2.0. The game is coming out on the Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3, and iPhone/iPod Touch this fall.

EA Sports Active 2.0 will come with wireless motion sensors, for the arms and legs, as well as and a heart rate monitor. EA Sports Active 2.0 will also have a online hub that will allow gamers to upload their workout data. the Hub will also have workout groups, the ability to send messages to other members, and share fitness journeys.

EA have also revealed that on top of the 3 phase, 9 week program that comes with the game, additional mini-programs will be available as add ons most likely as DLC for the Playstation 3 and iPhone versions.

Nintendo Detail This Years UK Virtual Console Hanabi Festival

Nintendo Have detailed this years Virtual Console Hanabi Festival. the Hanabi Festival brings games to the UK that were never originally released in the UK. Nintendo UK have currently announced 4 games in this years festival, with one game coming that was never released outside of Japan.

This years games are:
CASTLEVANIA RONDO OF BLOOD - TurboGrafx
Milon’s Secret Castle - NES
IRONCLAD - NEOGEO
Lode Runner - NES

The Hanabi Festival will start on 12th March.

EA Have Released A New Trailer For Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 11 On The Nintendo Wii

EA have released a new trailer for the Nintendo Wii version of Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 11. this trailer details the two new swings, the advanced Plus and Tour Pro, that are in the Nintendo Wii version, showing how to control the ball and what happens when you use them in the game. The video also shows off the new first person camera angle called True View and mentions that it can be used with any swing mechanic.
