Microsoft Announce Game Room For Xbox 360 And Games For Windows Live

Microsoft announce Game Room at this years CES Keynote. Game Room is coming to the Xbox 360 and Games For Windows Live this Spring.

When Game Room Launches, 30 original arcade and console classics will be available for download. The games Come From companies including Atari Inc, Intellivision, Konami Corp. And More. the games will come in the original Arcade cabinets. there will be weekly new title releases.

Game Room will be a free download. you can buy game machines that can be played on either a PC or Xbox 360 for 240 MS Points. You Can buy a Game Machine that can be played on both a PC and Xbox 360 for 400 MS Points. You can play a Game Machine once for 40 MS Points. you can play Game Machines in your friends Game Room for free.

The Game Machines have cross platform leader boards and achievements across both the Xbox 360 and Games For Windows Live. Online Multiplayer is available to the machines but requires Xbox Live Gold Membership.

Microsoft has released new in-game screenshots and a fact sheet for their upcoming Xbox Live Arcade game Scrap Metal. Scrap Metal is a top down racer which has action packed missions and bosses to defeat and collect their cars. There are 60 single player missions and more than 20 vehicles to collect and customise. The game has a anaglyph 3D mode, Red And Cyan glasses are required.

Sony Announce The PS3 Sold 3.8 Million Units Worldwide During This Holiday Period.


Sony has announced that PS3 sales are up 76% this holiday period over last year. Sony say over 3.8 Million units were sold worldwide between end of November and End of December 2009.
Sony have also announced that the PSN now has over 38 Million registered accounts worldwide.

(SCEI) today announced that the holiday season retail sales of PlayStation®3 (PS3®) computer entertainment systems during the five weeks following the last week of November 2009*1 exceeded 3.8 million units worldwide*2. The PS3 platform experienced a 76% increase in hardware sales compared to the same period in the previous year, marking the highest record sales for PS3 hardware for a holiday period. Nintendo Announce That The Endless Ocean 2 UK Release Date Is 5th February


Nintendo have revealed that Endless Ocean 2 is coming out across Europe on 5th February.

The Game has 6 locations to explore, from icy Arctic waters to Sunken wrecks in the Aegean Sea. you will also be able to go into rivers in the Amazon. the diving missions include you maintaining coral and swimming with humpback whales. other modes include treasure hunting and photo taking.

The Game has single player and multiplayer modes, multiplayer through Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, and the game uses Wii Speak.
