Square Enix have revealed the third part of the Final Fantasy XIII series of games. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII focuses on Lightning and she is tasked with saving a doomed world from complete destruction. areas, missions and people will only be available during selected periods. The game has evolved from Final Fantasy XIII-2, you have far greater customisation options for Lightning and the battle system is new for Final Fantasy. Square Enix have said that Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is the concluding chapter for Final Fantasy XIII
Codemasters have released a new behind the scenes look at F1 2012 and released new screenshots from The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, where they are racing at this weekend. the video features members of the dev team talking about the improvements the game has over previous entries in the series, they talk about better weather systems where i can rain on one part of the circuit and not another. they also talk about how the cars handling has been improved so you can see them sliding round corners.
2K And Gearbox have released a new video for Borderlands 2. this video, narrated by Sir Hammerlock, introduces the Borderlands 2 world and talks about the changes that have happened since the first game. the video also introduces the game, talking about the different character classes and showing them in action. Weapons, Relics and enemies are also discussed in this video.
Microsoft have announced Kinect Sports Ultimate Collection. this collection will come with both Kinect Sports and Kinect Sports Season Two as well as DLC for Basketball, Golf and Skiing. The Kinect Sports Ultimate Collection is set to come out on 21st September 2012.
Ubisoft have released a new gameplay video for ZombiU. this video takes place in Buckingham Palace and shows your main character making their way through the building, finding secret passages and using the GamePad.
Gearbox and 2K have announced Borderlands 2 will be getting at least 4 add-on campaigns as DLC. each one will feature several hours of gameplay, introduce new adventures, allies and environments. they will each retail for $9.99/800 MS Points on PS3, PC and Xbox 360. there will be the option to purchase a Season Pass for Borderlands 2 which will grant access to each of these 4 add-ons as they become available which will cost $29.99 on PS3 and PC or 2400MS Points. all 4 add-ons will be released by June 2013.
SuperBot Entertainment have revealed a new fighter in Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale. Raiden from the Metal Gear Solid series joins the cast. Raiden is a close ranged fighter that can perform combos and juggles.
