505 Games and Paramount Digital Entertainment have announced Top Gun: Hard Lock for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. Coming in Spring 2012, Top Gun: Hard Lock is set in the present day Top Gun academy with new recruits. Top Gun: Hard Lock is currently in development at Headstrong.

Milton Keynes, UK – 07 June, 2011– International videogames publisher 505 Games today announced the reimagining of a classic with Top Gun: Hard Lock. Based on Paramount Pictures’ classic film, Top Gun: Hard Lock is set in the present day with a brand new story line and new wave of elite naval aviators fresh out of the Top Gun academy. In Top Gun: Hard Lock gamers fly right back into the danger zone, for a jet propelled flight combat adventure with all the flair of a modern day action blockbuster. The game is being developed by Headstrong, a division of Kuju, set for release in spring 2012 for Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, and PC.
In development under license from Paramount Digital Entertainment, Top Gun: Hard Lock is aerial dog-fighting at jet speeds and tailgating MiGs at Mach 2, while offering a unique “Hard lock” mode where players perform air combat maneuvers that deliver an explosively satisfying visual payoff that brings them right into the action. Featuring the legendary F-14 Tomcat fighter jet and a number of additional licensed planes and weapons, and more than enough enemy MIGs to turn into smoldering rubble, the game is carefully mixed with just enough nostalgic references to remain true to its action movie roots.

EA have detailed the new Dynamic Player Performance feature that's in this years Madden NFL 12. the video uses in-game examples to help explain this new feature. simply put, this new feature brings confidence, or lack of, to players in the game. if a player tries something and it fails, he'll be less likely to try that again or he'll be more hesitant.
Ronimo Games have released a new E3 2011 gameplay trailer for Awesomenauts. the trailer is a mix of cinematics and in-game action. the trailer also features an interesting song which appears to be titled Awesomenaut.
Beatshapers have announced they are bringing StarDrone to the Playstation Vita. StarDrone is already available to buy from the PSN for the PS3. Beatshapers have released a trailer of the Playstation Vita version in action and its clear to see that the game looks just as good as the PS3 version and it has the same gameplay. from the video, it appears there is now a cursor on the screen which is most likely there to show where your finger is, most likely the game uses the back touch panel to guide the ship.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have released a new trailer for Green Lantern: Rise Of The Manhunters. this is a launch trailer that gives a broad look at the different types of gameplay and the games story. the trailer is a mix of cinematics and in-game action, that appears to be taken from the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. Green Lantern: Rise Of The Manhunters is set to come out on 10th June.
