UK Game Charts; Injustice: Gods Among Us, BioShock Infinite, Fire Emblem: Awakening, Tomb Raider, Defiance

BioShock Infinite is finally dethroned from its number 1 position this week by Injustice: Gods Among Us. the other new entry to make it into the top 20 all format chart is the 3DS exclusive Fire Emblem: Awakening which came in at 3. the only other new game in any other chart is History: Legends Of War on PS Vita coming in at 20 in that chart. apart from that, most chart action were games swapping places with each other.

The Top 4 all fought for the Number 1 Spot this week but, ultimately, Tomb Raider won out. if SimCity wasn't besieged by connectivity issues and sales continued steady then it may have become number 1. i expect that if online sales from Origin were included it would have been the UK number 1 this week. Tomb Raider outsold Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 on both PS3 and Xbox 360 on it's way to number 1. it's also been a long time since we had two PC exclusives in the top 4.

Aliens: Colonial Marines tops the PS3 and Xbox 360 charts to come in as this weeks number 1 game, dropping Dead Space 3 down to number 2. it shows how review scores are not everything to game coming in at number 1. we had Grand Theft Auto IV re-appearing at number 20, but in all there wasn't much movement in the charts. the biggest drop was Hitman: HD Trilogy going down to 14 from 5 and Assassin's Creed III was the biggest climber moving from 12 to 6.
