Dead Island: Riptide continues its reign at number 1, closely followed by Injustice: Gods Among Us which is second for a second week. the only major new entry this week was Soul Sacrifice, and whilst it came in at number 1 on PS Vita it failed to make it into the top 20 all format chart. in general there wasn't much movement in many of the charts this week.

The Injustice: Gods Among Us reign as UK number 1 only lasted 1 week as Dead Island: Riptide has pushed it down back to 2. Three other games came out last week and we had Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen in at 3, the Star Trek video game at 4 and the 3DS exclusive LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins at 8. console specific releases saw Deadly Premonition: The Directors Cut come in at 9 on the PS3 chart and on Wii U, NBA 2K13 snuck in at 20.

The Top 4 all fought for the Number 1 Spot this week but, ultimately, Tomb Raider won out. if SimCity wasn't besieged by connectivity issues and sales continued steady then it may have become number 1. i expect that if online sales from Origin were included it would have been the UK number 1 this week. Tomb Raider outsold Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 on both PS3 and Xbox 360 on it's way to number 1. it's also been a long time since we had two PC exclusives in the top 4.

UK Game Charts; Black Ops 2, Far Cry 3, FIFA 13, HItman Absolution, Assassin's Creed 3

Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 holds on to it's grip at number one this week, despite a strong challenge from the newly released Far Cry 3. last week saw the release of the Wii U and 3 games made it into the top 20. neither managed to get into the top 10, but Nintendo Land arrived at 11, New Super Mario Bros. U at 14 and Zombi U came in at 17.
