Sony Online Entertainment have announced there are now over 20 Million registered Free Realms users. the game was released back in 2009 and is now playable on PC, Mac, And Playstation 3. to celebrate this, Sony Online Entertainment have revealed that players who log into Free Realms from 21st October to 31st October will get a varsity letterman jacket for each of their characters.

Sony Online Entertainment have also detailed the Free Realms Spooktacular in-game event. from 24th October to 7th November players can log in and take part in events like a Vampire vs Werewolf dance-off. there will also be Halloween costumes.

Sony Online Entertainment have announced that Free Realms, the free to play MMO, now has over 12 million registered users. This feat was achieved just days after The Virtual Summer Camps opened in Free Realms.

“Our players wanted a summer of fun in Free Realms, so that’s what we’ve provided. Summer Camp, which officially started June 7, is anything but limited to camp activities and is going strong with weekly summer themes, in addition to new items and features that are regularly being added to the game world. Sony Online Entertainment have announced that new Rides, Accessories, And Vacant Lots are now available in Free Realms. The Rides, which include a Hoverboard that runs at 150% of normal walking speed, is available from the marketplace for 550 Station Cash. New Vacant Lots in Snowhill and Briarwood have been opened for Tree Houses, Obstacle Courses, Mazes, and more. two new clothing items for Wizards, and two new weapons for Warriors have been released as well as Mare and Stallion Rides.

Sony Online Entertainment reveal that Clothing and Weapons for Archers, Tiger Rides, and Treeble Pets are set to come early this summer.

Sony Online Entertainment have revealed that Free Realms has over 10 Million Subscribers in less than a year of being online.

Sony Online Entertainment have also detailed some of the Birthday celebrations that are going to take place in Free Realms. by around Mid-April, part decorations will be going up in the game. there are also celebratory live community events planned, new combat mini-games, and new shirts for Avatars. the game will also get 15 birthday quests and a cake fight. Sony Online Entertainment Announce That There Are More Than 8 Million Registered Free Realms Users

Sony Online Entertainment have announced that Free Realms now has more than 8 Million unique users registered to play Free Realms. The Game was released back on 29th April 2009, and since then, has steadily grown in terms of registered users and in the new features that have been added to the game.

Sony Online Entertainment have also announced that a new festival is scheduled to start later this week. The Festival Of Hearts is a month long celebration of love, friendship, and kindness. There will be themed events, items and awards released during the event as well as new pets.

New Pets

• dragons, dinosaurs, unicorns, ponies and pegasi
• Each pet can now do 3 tricks. the happier the pet, the better the trick
• Dragons may poo fire droppings, Pony's may wee Rainbows if you leave them alone

Fishing

• its a new job class that has 13 quests available
• there are 30 different species of fish to catch
• you can fly fish, customise you rod poles and lures

Player Housing

• three types will be available. you can invite friends to your house
• The Apartment has 1 bedroom, is free, can hold 75 items
• The Small Wilds House has 2 bedrooms. it has a small yard, free for members, holds 250 Items
• The large Wilds House has 3 bedrooms, a large yard, can hold 400 items, only available in the marketplace.

Fishing is the latest job to be added to Free Realms with an all new 3D minigame that will reel in players hook, line and sinker! Ever wonder what lurks within the waters of Sacred Grove? Sony Online Entertainment Announce Halloween Events In Their Online Games

Sony Online entertainment have announced this years Halloween events for their online games.

Free Realms is getting a Spooktacular in its latest update. there will be new decorations, trick or treating, mini games, 14 new quests, 2 new trading game packs, and more than 35 new costumes. The Spooktacular will run from October 14th through to November 11th.

Everquest has a Harvester Haunt. there will be new quests and awards. also, players have to track down a gravedigger called Edmund Strangeways in the Plane Of Knowledge. this even is scheduled to run from October 24th to November 7th.

Everquest II has the Nights Of The Dead. there will be a new Haunted Hedgemaze in Nektulos Forest, a Haunted Mansion in Loping Planes as well as buildings decorated and trick or treating in Qeynos and Freeport. there will also be new quests and ghosts wondering around. this event is set to run from October 16th to November 9th.

Legends of Norrath players will have to save the citizens from Riverale from a Zombie invasion. the new scenario, called Brraaaaaainss!, will be open to new and existing players, and will be free. those who are successful in defeating the zombies will receive promo cards to EverQuest or EverQuest II. this scenario runs from October 15th to November 11th.

Star Wars Galaxies have a Galactic Moon Festival to take part in at either Moenia or Mos Eisley. there will be new costumes as well as the return of the Burning Ewok Costume. this will begin on October 20th.
