Sony Confirm PS3 Firmware Update 4.31 Is Needed To Enable The Free PS Vita Copy Of Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale

Sony have confirmed that to enable the free version of Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale for the PS Vita, The PS3 needs to have firmware update 4.31. to download this free game to the PS Vita, you need to put the Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale PS3 disc in, go to game and then to Disc Benefits. if you do not have Firmware 4.31 you will get an error message.

Ubisoft have released a new trailer for Far Cry 3. this video focuses on the multiplayer in the game. the trailer uses in-game action to show unique weapons like Psyche Gas that stops players knowing what team other players are on and unique modes like Firestorm where a fire envelopes the map and gets bigger the closer you are to completing the mode.

The Release Date For Ratchet And Clank QForce Has Been Delayed, Now Comes To PS Vita In January With Free DLC

Sony and Tin Giant have announced the PS Vita version of Ratchet And Clank: QForce, otherwise known as Ratchet And Clank: Full Frontal Assault in the USA, has been delayed. the PS3 version of the game is still set to come out from 27th November, but now the PS Vita version is coming January 2013. Because of this delay, the first piece of DLC, the Mini-Boss Skin, will be available for free for those who are buying the game on the PS3. Ratchet And Clank: QForce is a part of the Cross Buy promotion, which means you get a PS Vita version for free.

Bethesda have announced Doom Classic Complete. this collection includes Doom and Thy Flesh Consumed Episode, Doom II and No Rest For The Living And The Master Levels Episodes, and Final Doom. this collection is coming out this week on the PSN for $14.99/£11.99/€14.99. no platform was announced but i suspect this is a PS3 collection.

PS Vita Firmware Update 2.0 Is Out Now, PS Vita Content Manager Update Also Out Now

PS Vita firmware update 2.0 is out now. this major update for the handheld has brought many changes. the big addition is Playstation Plus Support. the screenshot above shows the menu, accessed from Content Manager, where you can select the game saves you want uploaded. the size of game saves can be as high as 61MB for LittleBigPlanet (i have downloaded some levels which could be the reason for it's large size) to under 1MB. A unannounced feature of this update is Twitter Support. this can be found in settings under Facebook. at present i don't know if any game supports this.
