Techland Announce Dead Island Riptide Comes Out From April 23rd 2013 On PS3, Xbox 360 And PC

Techland and Deep Silver have announced the release dates for Dead Island Riptide. the USA and Canada get the game first on 23rd April with the rest of the world getting the game on 26th April. Dead Island Riptide is coming out on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. A Pre-Order Edition and Special Retailers Edition of the game have been announced also. the Pre-Order Edition will include weapon mods whilst the Special Retailer Edition will include the mods and a special character skin, that will be revealed later, and alternative boxart.

Feral Interactive have announced they are bringing Codemasters' F1 2012 to Macs this year. Team Ninja And Tecmo Koei Have Released A New Trailer, Boxart And Screenshots For Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge

Tecmo Koei and Team Ninja have released a new trailer, screenshots and boxart for their upcoming Wii U version of Ninja Gaiden 3, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge. the trailer shows in-game action, as do the screenshots. Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is coming out across the USA on 18th November.

Wii Exclusive Features:

• Ayane as a playable character: In previous versions of the game, Ayane appeared only briefly in one cut scene. Now players can help her progress through her own exclusive chapters using a special set of weapons and Ninpo attacks.
• Character-progression system:  Using Karma points earned during game play, players can upgrade weapons and Ninpo, learn new moves, increase their HP level and unlock new character costumes.
• Ryu and Ayane playable in co-op mode: For the first time, players can use Ryu or Ayane to represent themselves in the game's online co-op mode.
• Test of Valor battle areas: Each chapter includes a hidden battle area called Test of Valor. Upon finding hidden Crystal Skulls, players will be transported to these areas to face down waves of enemies and classic NINJA GAIDEN boss characters with new moves.
• Wii U GamePad Functionality: Using the Wii U GamePad, players can easily change weapons or Ninpo attacks, and also quickly reference the button inputs required for various combo attacks without ever stopping the action.

• More Tenacious Enemies: The Wii U version of the game restores enemies' ability to fight when severely wounded, requiring players to stay nimble with their battle strategies

Apple have announced a refresh to the iMac Line-up. the iMac no longer has a disc drive but this does mean Apple have managed to reduce the volume of the iMac by as much as 40%. at it's thinnest, the iMac is only 5mm. other hardware features include:

Telltale have revealed more information about the retail version of The Walking Dead. This retail version will contain all 5 episodes for The Walking Dead and be available on PS3 and Xbox 360. there will be a standard edition, for $29.99, that only contains the game. the Collectors Edition, currently only announced for GameStop in the USA, costs $69.99 and includes the game and issues 1-48 of The Walking Dead Comic Book Series in the Walking Dead Compendium. Sony Announce PS3 Firmware Update 4.30, View PS Vita Trophies On Your PS3 And Life With Playstation Discontinued

Sony have announced a new PS3 firmware update is coming out on 23rd October. this update enables PS3 owners to view trophies earned on the PS Vita as well as those earned on the PS3. Firmware Update 4.30 will also remove Life With Playstation from all those who have not installed it. those who do have the service will find it ends at the start of November.

Folding@Home was the main part of this service and since it started in 2007, more than 15 Million users have submitted data resulting in more than 100 Million computation hours being done by Playstation Users.

343 Industries have released 2 new videos for Halo 4. the first video is a launch trailer for the game. the video doesn't really show in-game action, instead it focuses on Master Chief from his beginning to facing the new enemy in the game.



The second video is a new behind the scenes look at Halo 4. this 13 minute video has members of the dev team talking about how they try to expand and improve on the Multiplayer from earlier Halo games. they want to make it more accessible, not just making it easier but also providing better on screen prompts in modes like Capture the Flag and making it easier for people to earn points and badges. the video shows in-game action from each of the modes and comparisons on how it's been improved, a couple of examples included the new Forge Mode having shadows over previous versions and Infected becoming its own Flood Mode.

Naughty Dog have announced they have teamed with Dark Horse Comics to create a The Last Of Us Comic. this comic will be a prequel that focuses on Ellie. The Last Of Us: American Dreams will delve into Ellies backstory, show her personality and what drives her. The Last Of Us: American Dreams is set to come out in Spring 2013. The series will be made by collaboration between Naughty Dog Creative Director Neil Druckmann, artist and writer Faith Erin Hicks, and colorist Christina Strain.
