Sega and Nintendo have announced Rhythm Thief & The Emperor Treasure is set to come out across the EU on the 3DS on 5th April. this rhythm based game has over 50 challenges to play. a demo for Rhythm Thief & The Emperor Treasure came out today on the 3DS eShop. Rhythm Thief & The Emperor Treasure also has a multiplayer mode where, over local Wireless or Download Play, you can challenge your friends in several multiplayer levels. Rhythm Thief & The Emperor Treasure uses Street Pass to introduce new characters to the game map. to keep that character on your map, you have to beat their high score in a rhythm game battle. you can have up to 90 fans on your map at a time.
The Pokémon Company have revealed the boxart for Pokémon Black 2, above, And Pokémon White 2, below. information about the games is still light, all that is currently known is that these are going to be new adventures, and not a release of the first Pokémon Black and White games.
Activison have announced a new Transformers game is coming to the Wii, DS, and 3DS this year. Transformers Prime is currently in development at Now Production, the Wii and 3DS versions, and Altron is doing the DS version.
Transformers Prime is based on the current Transformers Prime cartoon and lets gamers play as Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Arcee, Ratchet, and Bulkhead. Transformers Prime has you, the Autobots, making friends with the Humans and defending them against the Decepticons.
Insomniac announce The Ratchet And Clank Trilogy for the PS3. this collection features Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Locked & Loaded and Ratchet & Clank 3. the games are being remastered by Idol Minds to 1080p HD, 720p 3D, and 3 platinum trophies. Insomniac have also announced the Multiplayer mode from Ratchet & Clank 3 will be included.
Codemasters have released a new trailer for Dirt Showdown. this trailer uses in-game action to show a few different tracks and many vehicles crashing into each other. these destruction racers can be found in the destruction focused game modes like Rampage and Knock Out Mode.
Namco Bandai have announced a new free game update is coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Soul Calibur V. this update will bring new online ranked game search optimization, gameplay tweaks, and character balance adjustments for all the characters in the game. this adjustment is based on player feedback. this update is set to come out 21st March.
Namco Bandai have also announced Monthly DLC is coming to the game from 3rd April. these will be costume packs for the Creation mode.
Eyebrow Interactive have released a launch trailer for Closure. Closure is their upcoming PS3 PSN Puzzle Platformer that is set to come out 27th March. they say the idea of the game is to manipulate lights to phase objects in and out of reality. for example, if you can see it, it doesn't exist. the team is made up of 3 people and they have been working on the game for 3 years. Closure will cost $14.99 when it comes out, or $11.99 for Playstation Plus subscribers.
