Nintendo has announced their PAX East 2011 line-up. they are bringing the Nintendo 3DS as well as a software and game line-up including:

- LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars

- Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D
As well as the 3DS, Nintendo have also announced Pokemon Black and White on the DS will be there and Mario Sports Mix On the Wii is also at the show.

Visitors to this year's PAX East event will get more than just a glimpse into Nintendo's all-star lineup of console and hand-held video games. Running March 11-13 in Boston, the festival also marks an opportunity for U.S. consumers to experience the new Nintendo 3DS™ portable system in advance of its March 27 launch. Nintendo's PAX East booth (#412) will also give fans a chance to experience the latest installments in two of the world's favorite game franchises. The new Pokémon™ Black Version and Pokémon White Version games for the Nintendo DS™ family of systems offer new battle modes, a new region to explore and more than 150 new Pokémon to catch, battle and trade. Meanwhile, Mario™ Sports Mix for the Wii™ system injects four different sports – volleyball, basketball, dodgeball and hockey – with a dose of Mushroom Kingdom fun, adding wild power-ups and letting players put their customized Mii characters at the center of the action.

Techland have released new screenshots for Dead Island. these in-game screenshots show mostly Zombies and some of the characters in the game with Melee Weapons.

TT Games have released a new trailer for Lego Pirates Of The Caribbean. this trailer provides an overview of the game, showing in-game footage and cutscenes, 2 player co-op, and talking about how it covers all 4 of the Pirates Of The Caribbean Movies.
Sony's EU Playstation Blog has announced the PSN will be down for scheduled maintenance. The maintenance will run from 16:05 on Wednesday 9 March 2011 until 03:00 on Thursday 10 March 2011, GMT. During this time the following services will be inaccessible:
- PlayStation Store on PS3 and PSP.
- PlayStation Network Account Management.
- PlayStation Network Account Registration
You will still be able to collect in-game trophies, but they will only show on your PSN profile once maintenance is completed
