Amazon Prime customers will have access to 17,000 videos at no additional cost to their $79 year subscription.

Fun Bits Interactive have announced Escape Plan update 1.01. this update is set to come out on 10th April and it brings free DLC to the game. The update is based on user feedback and brings a host of tweaks and improvements to the game like more touch screen accuracy and a tweak to the game's star rating system. The update also helps prep the game for future DLC, but the free DLC coming consists of 19 prequel puzzle rooms and is set in a hazardous sausage factory.

Square Enix Announce 774 Deaths For The iPhone And iPod Touch


Square Enix have announced a new game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. 774 Deaths is a 8bit style game, not just in graphics but also in difficulty, that is out now for £0.69 / €0.79. its price is currently on sale, its normal price is listed as £2.49 / €2.99. the game has 33 stages and a feature where you can post to Twitter how many times you have died.

Maxis and EA have released a new video for SimCity. this behind the scenes look at the game focuses on how economics work in the game. the example is simple and the graphics shown in the game are not final.

Sony Announced PS Vita Firmware Update 1.65 But Took It Down Due To A Technical Issue

Sony announced PS Vita firmware update 1.65 earlier today. however this update was taken down due to a technical fault. its not clear if this fault was with the firmware update itself or a technical issue their end. i personally was unable to get the update when it was available.

Sony listed the update as bringing the following to the Vita:

  • You can now disable the notification alert messages that indicate when friends sign in, messages are received and other activities. To disable these alerts, got to [Settings] > [Sound & Display] > check/uncheck [Notification Alerts]. Additionally, Notification alerts will now display for five seconds instead of three seconds
  • ‘After 10 Minutes’ has been added as an option in [Power Save Settings] > [Auto Standby]
  • An arrow will indicate when new activities are available in LiveArea
  • Caps Lock is now supported by the on-screen keyboard. Simply double-tap the Shift key to enable it
In the comments section of the blog it appears there were other features in this update:

“Denizens of NeoGAF using the fresh firmware have spotted extra features: improvements to how often Near updates, a percentage bar when installing a game and the ability to background download when manually selecting sleep mode.” Also some people say that the Minis from Plus are now working.

Sony say they will let people know when the update is back online. for those who already have it, Sony say they should continue as normal with their updated PS Vitas.
