This top 10 shows the most clicked tweets from my News in brief Twitter stream. It was a strange week for New In Brief. There was interest in many old stories and you can see in the top 10 that posts 6,8, and 10 are all fairy old. There was no big news story this week so its not too surprising to see Naruto top as its a popular Anime/Manga/Video Game.

What Have You Played This Week?
The news was pretty constant this week but I was busy with everyday life also so I didn't get too much gaming done over the week. I traded in several old games i've completed and bought myself ModNation Racers and a PlayStation Move Controller, I thought i'd treat myself, so I got some gaming in with them and PlayStation Move Demos. At the moment it looks like i'll rent Move games, but I do have store credit left for a game. I was a bit concerned if I would have space for Move but thankfully i'm alright, my bedroom is small but I can get to around 3ft away from the PlayStation Eye for Move to work well.
Football Manager 10 – PC – I've worked my way through January and got some decent results in which have put Havant & Waterlooville 3rd in the championship. I hope momentum will continue through the end of February and March so I can mount a challenge for promotion.
Mini Ninjas – PS3 – I'm getting close to the end of the game now. Its been a fine game so far. Changing the difficulty to hard has made combat fun and challenging, making me use many different ninja techniques, but it hasn't effected boss battles, which are easy once you've worked out what to do. I'm getting trophies regularly and can see i'll get plenty right at the end. There's not really much wrong with the game, its probably a tad short, and i'm having fun.
ModNation Racers – PS3 – I didn't get as much time with the game as I had hoped. There were 4 patches to download which seem to take a while, but once I got in the single player racing was very enjoyable and I can see that it offers plenty of replay value, with 3 targets to reach in each race. I've tried online but not enough to really comment on it. The load times are noticeably long. I know its not the games fault and there's not much the developers can do...its just the load times are just that little bit long where they become noticeable. The graphics are nice and I like the overall art style.
Blade Kitten – Demo – PS3 – I was curious about this game and to how it looked and played. Its a side scrolling action/platformer and that works well with the game. I'm not that keen on the games art style and I don't like the main character much, as a character and her design. The sword combat is fine, but the levels feel just a bit too long. There's plenty of money to find in the level and plenty of areas to explore. But overall this game isn't my taste.
echochrome ii – Demo – PS3 – This game has been described as the best use of PlayStation Move so I was really interested in giving it a go. Its just as mind bending as echochrome and has the same unique look to it. The tutorial is very well done and I thoroughly recommend trying it first. The demo levels are also well chosen as they show many different ways the shadows work. It also makes the game surprising accessible for both hardcore and casual gamers. It uses move very well and very simply too and i'd consider it a must buy for people who have Move.
The Shoot – Demo – PS3 – I like light gun games and was looking to see how move would work as a gun. I don't have the gun peripheral but even just holding it worked fine. The T button, the trigger, is really good for this sort of game. I enjoyed the shoot. Some of the on screen prompts I didn't quite understand first time, but the premise of the game is enjoyable and the demo wasn't too difficult. The demo gives a good example of the gameplay you can expect and the varied set pieces on offer. I'm intrigued about this game and will think about getting it, or at the very least renting it as i'm unsure how long a game like that would be.
Kung Fu Rider – Demo – PS3 – there's been a lot of negative press about this game but it was still something I wanted to try. I find the premise fun and wacky and wanted to get some hands on. It does use all the Move buttons but the tutorial does explain them all. The only problem is its easy to get through the levels without using all the buttons. The levels are fun and its easy to see there are many different ways of completing each one. Out of all the Move demos I tried this was the least accurate but, much like Wii games, you adjust to it. An example would be its easy in the beginning to jump when you meant to run. So I made the running movement gentler and it worked out fine. I'll defiantly rent the game, but it is a shame that throughout it feels like a PSN game and not a retail game.
Did you manage to play more games than I have over the week, or do you have any comments on my experiences or questions about the games i've played? If you do, feel free to add them in the comments section.
