EA Announce The FIFA Franchise Has Sold Over 100 Million Units In Its 18 Years
EA have announced that the FIFA Franchise has now sold over 100 Million Units during its 18 years on sale. FIFA 11 has become the biggest selling game in the franchise, selling over 2.6 Million copies in just its first 5 and coming up to 8 million copies sold, up 20% over FIFA 10.

The best-selling sports videogame franchise in the world, now in its 18th year, sold a record-breaking 2.6 million copies in the first five days after launching FIFA 11 to become the fastest selling sports videogame of all time. FIFA 11 sales are up 20% versus last year* on a comparable basis with sell-in approaching 8 million units.
