Capcom and SoundCloud have announced they are teaming up for a Street Fighter X Tekken Competition. Fans of the game are bring asked to create their own tracks using vocal samples from each game, Tekken and Street Fighter. the best of these tracks will then be showcased during the Street Fighter X Tekken launch event in London on 29th February. of them, one Street Fighter and one Tekken finalist will be picked to battle it out.

Microsoft have announced Microsoft Flight is set to come out on PC on 29th February. the game will be available for free, with content available to purchase for a price. the first of these content packs will also be out on 29th February, it lets you explore the Hawaiian islands, 20 new missions, and 1 new aircraft. Gamers who sign up for the game with Games For Windows Live will also get access to 2 other aircraft, the The Maule M-7-260C and The North American P-51 Mustang, which they can purchase.
Naughty Dog have announced a new patch for Uncharted 3 is out now. patch 1.04 "· Fixes for Hard and Crushing Co-op Adventure Mode that address treasure sets that could not be completed ". The patch also prepares the game for future DLC, more details on this DLC will be revealed soon.
Autumn Games have released a new trailer for Skullgirls. this trailer details the games' story, revealing that the girls are fighting to defeat an evil and take the Skull Heart. the trailer also shows in-game action from each of the fighters.
Capcom have released a new trailer for Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3. this trailer shows how the ability cards work in the game. the trailer uses in-game examples of different cards and show how they can affect gameplay.
Capcom have also detailed where you can find, or how to unlock each card. the image is too large for this site, but if you head here you can see a full list. essentially, to get the card you want, you play as one of the factions and battle on a specific stage...eg choose a hero and fight at Kattleox Island.
EA and Klei Entertainment have released a new trailer for Shank 2. this trailer uses in-game action to show off the games' multiplayer survival mode. in this mode, you have to survive waves of enemies whilst defending supply stations. as you play you can unlock new weapons to purchase.
Sony have released a new Inside PS Vita video. this video focuses on social connectivity, wifi and 3G online as well as Party and Near. this video features several developers and in-game action. it uses real game examples to show how the PS Vita uses its features.
for example, Wipeout 2048 uses 3G to download ghost data. the example they used is if you have a track which 4 of your mates have played on. the game will download the ghost data next for you to beat, so if you beat one and have another mate to beat, the game will use 3G to download the ghost data and you can keep on playing.
Another example detailed in the video is the Live Area page, a way for the developers of a game to interact with gamers, like game announcements. Activity stream lets you know what your friends have done in that game, what trophies they have unlocked.
Near is detailed in this video. an example they use in the video is how you can challenge everyone in your area, for example with Wipeout and Near, you can complete a challenge in the game and then upload it to near. this will be bound to your location so anyone walking by will get the challenge sent to them.
